A major disc manufacturer requested a miniature motor contact supplied as a loose part in bulk for assembly to a printed circuit board. Northwest Stamping & Precision evaluated the assembly requirements and developed the process to load the parts into pocket tape for automated assembly. This shortened the customer’s supply chain requirements, ensured product integrity and reduced overall cost.
