SUMMARY: Sets up and operates punch presses that automatically feed continuous coils of metal into tooling in compliance with Northwest Stamping, Inc.* Policy Manual, Operating Procedures Manual, Quality Manual, and Safety Manual* by performing the following duties:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned as needed.
  • Operates (start/stop functions) power presses.
  • Loads coils and starts material into tools.
  • Performs visual inspection (go/no go inspection and limited inspection equipment use).
  • Identify and report discrepant materials and parts per company Quality Manual.
  • Operates all secondary manufacturing cells.
  • Learns standards setup by ISO, Ops, and Quality Manual and performs all duties and responsibilities, accordingly.
  • Installs specified dies in press.
  • Adjusts ram stroke of press.
  • Comply with safety regulations in housekeeping requirements and the use of tools, machinery, safety equipment and attire as required to insure an accident free workplace.
